The English Riviera

A groundbreaking new publication called 'For Kids, By Kids - The English Riviera For Kids...and Grown Ups' has just rolled off the press and is already being extremely well received. The original initiative - a first for any local authority in the country, saw the English Riviera Tourist Board teaming up with a local primary school to produce the guide aimed at youngsters and their families visiting the Bay.

Taking the refreshing attitude that young people are the real experts when it comes to recommending activities for other young people to do while on holiday, 65 children from Curledge Street Primary School in Paignton worked on the project.

Working in small groups, the children aged between seven and eight years old came up with different activities that would be of particular interest to kids. These included sporting facilities, visitor attractions, beach activities and educational pursuits associated with the Geopark.
